Yaks play vital roles in the tourism industry of Nepal. They carry supplies for trekkers and climbers up to the Mt. Everest Base Camp. They are well adapted in high altitude able to survive in below 0-degree temperatures.
"Kasthamandapa" means a wooden temple. It is the original word for modern Kathmandu. It was built in the 7th century. It is believed that the timber used here are from a single tree. Imagine how big and tall that tree would have been!
